My name is Becky and at 52 years old, i began having a pain in my lower left side.  I went for a CT scan, and  coincidentally, they discovered a mass on my liver.   I was referred to a surgeon for a liver resection only to find I was not eligible due to bile duct cancer. (Cholangio carcinoma) In February of 2007,  I was advised I probably had about 6-8 months to live.  In March, 2007 I had my first "magic beads" and in May, I had my 2nd dose.  This has been my first line of defense, and I have not had chemo yet.  I will begin that journey upon my return from Maui in mid June.  I still have my energy.   What has all this taught me so far?  To appreciate and enjoy everything.  Do not sit around and mope-  Look at each day as a gift from God.  Make those around you happy, and you will be happy.
